the disadvantage elizabeth is talking about is that man and women are forced to get married. also mrs. bennet was trying to get mr. collins to be married to her daughter elizabeth and they are cousins
another disavantage of marriage that is seen in the book is that peole weren't married because of love they were married because of money.
2. how were children affected by difficult marriages.
children were affected by marriages both mentally and emotionally and the reason for this is because a child coming from an abusive home will become mentally abusive and will also have anger issues also they become emotional and this affects them because they can commit suicide and when they become okder think that marriage is a bad thing
3.its acceptable today to stay in an unhappy marriage for the sake of the childern.
in my opinion i dont agrree with the above statement because this will have a bad inpact on the child
